Unsafe on any Channel
March 21st, 2005 by JoshI often work from home on Mondays. It’s nice to get away from the stresses of the office for a day and have uninterrupted time to work. Generally very productive days. Unfortunately I often put CNN on in the background while I’m working. Much like last week was 24 hours a day of the Atlanta courthouse shooting, today is Terry Schiavo all the time. I can’t even really go into how much this story and the exploitation of the situation by conservatives digusts me. There’s nothing I can say better than the other critics out there.
At 4:30 today, what comes on but Crossfire. Now, I may be wrong, but didn’t CNN cancel this show? I could never stand Begala so I don’t miss him, and at this point Robert “Douchebag of Freedom” Novak is just water off my back. But even Ralph Nader is pimping himself out on this show now. I’ve never been a Nader supporter though I generally agreed with his policies and politics. I thought he completely compromised himself in the 2004 race and it’s just sad to see him continuing on the same path now.
