Rhapsody v. Yahoo review

May 26th, 2005 by Josh

I’ve written before about my love for Rhapsody, and before that Napster. I listen to music virtually all day long so having a large catalog of different records to listen to is very important. Rhapsody fulfills that wish as well as providing a legal conduit to the music. Yahoo, continuing its goal to be the content provider of the future, just introduced its own streaming music service for much less than Rhapsody.

Dave at Life Like Weeds reviewed the two services and decided that for now, Rhapsody is still the way to go.

Meanwhile I’m listening to Joshua Redman Elastic Band’s Momentum.

UPDATE (5/27): The NY Times has a great interview with Redman on the cover of today’s Arts section.

While you sit at your office desk listening to Joshua Redman, here is a NY Times article in which Redman discusses what he’s been listening to: http://www.nytimes.com/2005/05/27/arts/music/27redm.html?oref=login
