Sunday, December 11th, 4:05 pm. Our beloved Iggles versus the much hated New York Giants. If Eli Manning is actually still alive after that hit that Darwin Walker put on him during last season’s opener (we’re all fairly convinced he actually died at that moment) then he’ll be there, ready to be embarrassed by Brian Dawkins, Jevon Kearse, Michael Lewis, and Jim Johnson. McNabb will be there tossing his passes to someone – I don’t even care who – while little Brian Westbrook will be there cutting the Giants’ defense to shreads. And I too will be there, up in Section 228 screaming at the top of my lungs and drinking beer all day long.

If history is any indicator, this could even be the game at which they clinch the NFC East.

Normally I’d say screw Ticketmaster, but today they hooked me up.

UPDATE (6/28/05): Ok, it wasn’t Darwin Walker who put that hit on Manning. It was Jerome McDougle. Screw you Noah.
