Rope that Dope
July 14th, 2005 by JakesgRick Santorum is digging his own grave. He continues to help his opponent Bob Casey Jr. by donating fodder to fuel the fire. The latest, dumbest thing to come out of his mouth, he actually wrote in 2002. And in this corner, my own Senator Ted Kennedy, has put it back in the headlines. Kennedy yesterday on the senate floor called Santorum “self rightous and insensitive” for his remarks stating that the liberals who promote an alternative lifestyle in Massachusetts have spawned immoral behavior such as priests molesting children. And BAM, just like that, the knockout punch. Pennsylvania hosts the second largest population of elderly in this country after Florida, and with Santorum campaigning for Bush’s Social (In)security Plan, it’s unlikely that PA will want to keep that fool in office much longer.
