September 3rd, 2005 by JoshI guess we’ll all play the “what a great man he was” game but this is the guy who was against a woman’s right to choose, gay rights, privacy in the home, protecting rape victims, for executing minors and the mentally retarded, and presided over both impeaching Clinton for a blowjob and installing GWB in the White House in 2000.
Meanwhile, George W., the worst president ever, gets to choose two Supreme Court justices now.

Clinton was not impeached for a “blow job”. Clinton was impeached for lying under oath to a court and for obstructing an investigation into his criminal activities (successfully, as neither Bill nor the real culprit, Hillary, has had to answer for Whitewater, Travelgate or Filegate). It is the same reason that led to the suspension of his license to practice law, his fine, in short, his conviction in a court of law.
Bush can’t be the worst president ever. In fact, as long as Jimmy Carter is alive, he isn’t even the worst living president.

Ok, Matt, you are technically right in that Clinton was impeached for lying about his relationship with Lewinsky and not the sexual act itself. Bush, on the other hand, lied about 9/11 and twisted intelligence to take this country into an unprovoked war in which tens of thousands of people have died. I haven’t drank the kool aid and I still consider the death of thousands of people more important than firing a few people from the travel office.
And we’re not even counting the criminal negligence of this administration in the Katrina aftermath.
