It’s Been Fun, Tom. Really It Has

News wire articles are beginning to confirm the rumors inside the beltway today that Tom Delay will be indicted on conspiracy charges. If this is the case, House rules dicatate that the majority leader will have to step-down from his post while the investigation unfolds.

Republicans are scrambling to figure out who will become the majority leader. Again, rumors are that Congressman Mike Pence (R-IN) is being considered for the job.

    It seems that even if Delay were indicted, he would only have to step down temporarily. This would still probably kill his re-election chances…what are the chances he’d completely leave congress now?

    Thankfully at least he is bringing more shame on his shameful party.
