Some Yucks

Friday, October 28th, 2005

Ahh, Gary Trudeau. He’s been consistenly entertaining us with his comic strip for more than 30 years now, ever since he was an undergrad partying down at Yale with Kerry and Bush. I get Doonesbury emailed to me daily (and it’s always include at the bottom of this website) and there are very [...]

Message

The Democrats are feasting their eyes, rubbing their hands, and salivating over the potential idictments Fitzmas may bring. The glory of bringing down a few WH aides, tarnishing W’s legacy (in the eyes of his supporters, finally) and forever altering the course of history.

Notes of the previously undisclosed [...]

Monday, October 24th, 2005

Unfortunately I’ve been unable to find a full article out there besides the one behind the WSJ subscription wall, but apparently the Journal is reporting that about a year ago the Microsoft developers threw out all the code that had been written for MS’s next generation operating system, Vista, aka Longhorn, and started from scratch. [...]

Dead Heat

Monday, October 24th, 2005

Tim Kaine and Jerry Kilgore remain in a dead heat in Virginia for the Governor’s seat. Unsurprisingly, the Washington Post has endorsed Tim Kaine, with a very elogquent article describing him as, “a responsible, forward-thinking, unifying, principled politician with brains, guts and know-how.”
It seems likely that this election will come down to the last day, [...]

Syrial Killer

Friday, October 21st, 2005

So the U.N. has announced that it has implicated Syrian intelligence officials in the killing of Former Lebanese Prime Minister Hariri, no surprise. Also, no surprise that Bush responds to the allegations with caution, knowing his Secretary of State recently alluded to possible use of force in Syria as a result of the Iraq war. [...]
