My Small Part
June 2nd, 2006 by JoshJust as a quick follow up to the last post, I like to think I’m doing my part.
Thought not entirely of my own volition, I’ve ditched my beloved 1991 Honda Civic (damn did the manual steering handle well) and signed up just days ago for Philly Car Share. They say if you drive less than 8000 miles a year, you’ll save money on PCS. Now they just need to send me my key fob so I can take my busted iMac to the store. I’m definitely looking forward to trying out the Prius just a few blocks from my house.
I also bought a bike. A purty used green Schwinn from Via Bicycle. I’m a bit miffed that I’m still waiting to actually pick the bike up as they have quite a backlog of repairs, but they’re great folks over there with a great shop.

Hey Joseph,
Congrats to you! It’s refreshing to see people taking action!
I’m trying to do my part too…spreading the word about An Inconvenient Truth. There’s a new site dedicated to generating awareness of the movie and to get people out to the theaters. I don’t think it’s too late; tomorrow it opens in 400 more theaters as it expands across the country.
Anyway, I’d really appreciate if you took a look. I welcome your thoughts. The site is at sharethetruth.us and it *just* launched.
Thank you!
