The much-talked-about “hope” was an early casualty. People who wanted the economy to improve, betrayed; people who wanted Guantanamo closed down, betrayed; people who wanted an end to earmarks, betrayed.
All of life is like that, really. You make important decisions for an emotional high, it doesn’t work out over the long term. Now people who didn’t learn, have to learn it the hard way. Unfortunately, the rest of us have to as well.

Nine months later…things not working out so good.
The much-talked-about “hope” was an early casualty. People who wanted the economy to improve, betrayed; people who wanted Guantanamo closed down, betrayed; people who wanted an end to earmarks, betrayed.
All of life is like that, really. You make important decisions for an emotional high, it doesn’t work out over the long term. Now people who didn’t learn, have to learn it the hard way. Unfortunately, the rest of us have to as well.
